What exterior finish will keep aluminum looking good for a long time (especially in salt water areas)?

One of aluminum's inherent properties is highly corrosion resistant, especially when compared to other materials like steel and galvanized.

Aluminum will begin to show very minor pits after 1.5-2 years.
Aluminum with anodized finish will show very minor pits after 3-4 years
Aluminum with hard coat anodized finish will show very minor pits after 5-6 years

How about paint, such as powder coat?
